BN11 Property Market Update – September 2026

The latest Zoopla House Price Index paints a picture of a housing market that remains active, but where buyers are becoming increasingly price-conscious.

Zoopla reports that UK house price growth has slowed to 0.8% over the year to August 2026, with the average UK property now valued at £273,000. At the same time, the number of homes available for sale is 5% higher than a year ago, while the number of sales agreed is 9% lower.

For homeowners in BN11 and Worthing, this national picture is particularly relevant. The South East is one of the regions where prices have fallen over the past year, with Zoopla recording annual price growth of -0.7% across the region.
