We bought and sold through James and James ES. From the very start of meeting Aaron at a viewing and then being inspired by him to value our property and Sarah escorting us around our chosen new abode more than once then Nick and his team Jo and Zoe for marketing and managing a large chain with a number of challenging obstacles over 5 months we we can’t fault their professionalism, and team work. Their coupled knowledge of the industry and communicative ability ensured we were updated every step of the way which on occasion seemed like a roller coaster ride. Nicks experience particularly shined through with his diplomatic negotiating skills and we thank him for getting us over the line for our new adventure. Thanks guys well done.

We have had excellent service from James & James from start to finish. It was certainly not an easy ride, with a broken chain , a flakey rogue valuer and what seemed like endless little set backs. All of this was skilfully managed by Nick. He is a terrier of estate agents and kept the show on the road even when it was looking bleak. We felt we were kept fully appraised of the situation by Nick. The office staff were also most helpful and efficient

Excellent service from start to finish and in between too !! Clear guidance given to the process and costs. Feedback given after each viewing in a timely way. Staff brilliant and courteous at all times, they supported us as a family throughout a challenging time for us all. Managed all viewings for us spending extra time explaining to elderly parents residing at the property. We were helped by Aaron at James & James to buy our property. He was so helpful, reliable and responsive. We wish we'd sold our previous property with him because he was so much more helpful than the agents we had the property listed with. Even when Aaron wasn't available his colleagues were responsive and helpful. Buying and selling was incredibly stressful and there were quite a few occasions where it felt like the only person responding to my stressy queries was Aaron! James and James were supportive, communicative and helpful from beginning to end with selling my family home. They listened to what I wanted and needed. The pictures taken for the sale of my 5 bedroom home were excellent and the marketing campaign strategic. I found James and Jim very personable and easy to work with, and in fact the whole team have a bright, positive and organised approach that felt genuine, which can sometimes be lacking in estate agencies. Aaron Baker dealt with the sale once we had secured a buyer. He was patient, professional and acted with integrity and honesty throughout, keeping both me and the buyers happy - no mean feat. I highly recommend him! My situation has been particularly difficult for the estate agent, solicitor and me and my family due to a divorce being the reason for selling up. They were understanding and supportive, recognising the challenges of the situation and navigated them in a way that made things easier rather than harder. James and James, thank you for getting me and my family over the finish line!

As a buyer I can't recommend James & James enough. Nick Smith was a pleasure to deal with, he was very personable, fast acting and knowledgable. It was like night and day compared to another very popular Worthing estate agent (which I won't name) who grossly inflate their prices (they overvalued our Brighton home by £100k) and tried to use underhand tactics to increase our bid on another property previously. We think we have bought our forever home, but if we move again we'll 100% contact James & James first to sell our home.
